Clear skies welcomed the 8078 spectators who had made their way to Fire&Glory Arena. Sirius Herman was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ludovít Štepánek and Marcos Larragoiti. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Jah_Strength. They fielded: Leng Nie - Sánchez, Călin, Ugarte - Ruiz Díaz, Yurretauria, Sánchez, Ibarraetxebarria, Czaban - Connah, Lyudyno.

R.D.S started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Lineup: Ruiz - Blanc, Bianchi, Alsogaray, Monaco - Banay, Calarza, Pereira, Pedrone - Hollis, Di Pietro.

Jah_Strength saw most attack opportunities on the wings. R.D.S immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents. R. Banay of R.D.S seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by A. Bianchi. With the scoreboard showing that 24 minutes had been played, R.D.S nearly put themselves up another goal after J. Monaco came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Players in Jah_Strength heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. Jah_Strength's G. Yurretauria put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 25 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Jah_Strength, with 61 percent of the ball.

With 49 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 2 - 1 lead as A. Ibarraetxebarria flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. With 61 minutes played, F. Pedrone of R.D.S fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Jah_Strength were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. The home side's M. Ruiz Díaz came close to extending the lead 62 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but N. Ruiz managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Jah_Strength enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

A. Lyudyno performed admirably for Jah_Strength. On the other hand, J. Sánchez's play was disheartening. The most dominating R.D.S player was without a doubt P. Di Pietro. A. Bianchi turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
