Dark skies made the crowd of 9847 at Pamplinas Club a little nervous, but the rain held off. Manfred Trautwein was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Paolo Sorrentino and Thommas Grøn Nielsen. People from all over Provincia de Buenos Aires had joined up for the derby. Pamplinas started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. They fielded: Cardetti - Pardini, Laria, Monfragüe - Fianchini, Echayre, Agolio, Kolupaev - Oña, Fracasi, Topo.

juniors tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Lineup: Corbet - Fontano, Gómez, Callesen, Geiser - Rodríguez, Valenti, Lacalle Tejada, Pickard - Mamaev, Simon.

Pamplinas seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. P. Kolupaev gave Pamplinas the lead with a beautiful free kick after 4 minutes. 1 - 0! 21 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as S. Pardini broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Pamplinas. It was obvious that team Pamplinas had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. G. Fianchini should probably have put his team up another goal after 22 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by C. Corbet kept the visitors in the game. N. Fracasi increased the lead for Pamplinas to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Confident in their lead, Pamplinas's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After 28 minutes, C. Laria put Pamplinas ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Pamplinas had most of the ball, with 79 percent of possession.

A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Pamplinas's N. Fracasi increasing the lead to 5 - 0. The unexpected cross pass from Pamplinas's C. Laria after 52 minutes opened up the defence and was received by G. Topo who finished off for 6 - 0. Pamplinas's G. Topo increased the lead to 7 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 53 minutes. Pamplinas put themselves up 8 - 0 when M. Echayre broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The referee showed Pamplinas's M. Echayre the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 75 minutes in, Pamplinas's C. Laria received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. G. Geiser behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 79 minutes as he gave the ball away to G. Fianchini. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Pamplinas solidified their lead at the 85 minute mark, as C. Laria dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 9 - 0. Pamplinas's G. Fianchini had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 86 minutes having been played. N. Carcassona was the replacement. Possession in this half belonged to Pamplinas, who controlled the ball 83 percent of the time.

The most dominating Pamplinas player was without a doubt G. Topo. N. Carcassona was a disappointment, however. juniors's best player was O. Pickard. M. Callesen on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 9 - 0.
