Broccoli took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 40 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for PERONISTAS. After 42 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed A. Kozarenko to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 4. PERONISTAS enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 73 percent of possession.

With 70 minutes played, PERONISTAS put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was M. Suñer. The players of PERONISTAS now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Lopez from PERONISTAS a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 72 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! With the clock showing 75 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Pintura resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by R. Echeverria in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. A drive down the left side allowed A. Kozarenko to get in close and score another goal for PERONISTAS after 76 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 6. 80 minutes in, PERONISTAS's A. Tepe received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The referee signalled a penalty 84 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. A. Kozarenko knocked it home to make the score 0 - 7. By then A. Kozarenko had scored three goals - a hat trick! After the ball was lifted in from the left, A. Kozarenko was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 86 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration.
