A great save by keeper D. Mansur after 52 minutes kept the visitors in the game after D. Feres struck from the left with a real cannonball. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Simythowers, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. Coming from the right, T. Ruiz almost managed to score another goal for Simythowers, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. It was obvious that Simythowers had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Simythowers managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when B. Fossato cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. In an effort to secure the lead, Simythowers changed their tactic after 62 minutes. Simythowers had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Simythowers's best player was T. Ruiz. On the other hand, I. Grekidis's play was disheartening. Santiago's top performer was clearly N. Corral. D. Mansur turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
