(391050944)

15-07-2012 23.35
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 12000 to
Monumental.
Dafin Stoica was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Cees Bertrand and
Pol Demortier.
EvemarB started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Delfino - Cellini, Siriani, Monsalvo, Rotondo - Fumero, Alves, Jordan, Sofovich - Ocampo, Bazán.
calle tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
Starters: Almirall - Guirriere, Palma, Juma, Sciavo - Politov, Nievas, Bilello, Espil - Aprea, Williams.
The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of calle's
D. Espil after 12 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead.
The EvemarB free kick 20 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
E. Bazán, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 1!
The guests took the lead 29 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in
E. Politov scoring to make it 1 - 2.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
P. Alves from EvemarB a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 37 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
F. Juma was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so calle's
R. Marín Pérez had to come off the bench.
39 minutes into the game,
S. Fumero came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar.
Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for EvemarB, but
P. Alves's shot went over the bar.
Halftime score was 1 - 2.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by EvemarB, with 67 percent of the ball.
A tussle 66 minutes into the match resulted in a penalty being awarded to the home team and
G. Cellini put the ball into the back of the net without any difficulty. That tied the score up at 2 - 2.
Making his way up the middle 67 minutes into the match,
D. Jordan almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
G. Almirall blocked it to keep the score level.
The unexpected cross pass from EvemarB's
L. Siriani after 70 minutes opened up the defence and was received by
G. Ocampo who finished off for 3 - 2.
J. Monsalvo could have increased the lead after 71 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
After 83 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by EvemarB was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options.
Cheers filled the stadium as
B. Sofovich broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 2 to EvemarB.
EvemarB had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.
E. Bazán performed admirably for EvemarB.
D. Delfino on the other hand, had a terrible day.
calle's top performer was clearly
S. Aprea.
I. Bilello turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 4 - 2.
