Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 48966 at Habemus Coliseum today. Tom Götz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Héctor González and Sergio Cuccureddu. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Roneros. Roneros's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 24 minutes gone, but K. Csordás's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, A. Calixto got himself booked. The manager of Roneros was not happy. Roneros's T. Adriazola had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 31 minutes having been played. J. Nemere was the replacement. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 39 minutes into the match, and J. Jimenez wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. After 40 minutes, Pirulacticos's G. Pulvani burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. L. Ahtola of Pirulacticos seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 3 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by A. Hofbauer. The home crowd cheered when, after 43 minutes, S. Paquetá's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. 44 minutes in, Roneros appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pirulacticos, with 61 percent of the ball.

A review of the gameplan helped Roneros get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. A. Hofbauer received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 60 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Pirulacticos fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The players of Pirulacticos now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After 67 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Roneros found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. The visitors' S. Paquetá took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 73 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Pirulacticos. With 77 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed S. Depoorter of Pirulacticos to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 6. 78 minutes into the game, Roneros seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. After 79 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed S. Paquetá to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 7. Pirulacticos increased their lead after 80 minutes when J. Jimenez broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 8, much to the home crowd's dismay. The home crowd was not impressed when C. Cadorel came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 85 minutes. Pirulacticos were now up 0 - 9. Pirulacticos had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

Roneros's top performer was clearly C. Focardi. J. Nemere turned in a dismal performance, however. Pirulacticos's best player was A. Hofbauer. However, L. Ahtola made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 9.
