Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile E. Sotomayor. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Pata had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

E. Sotomayor came close to putting the visiting team one up 47 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but H. Lemi managed to tip the ball to a corner. Pata's F. Galindo could have put the guests one up after 53 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but H. Lemi was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 63 minutes into the match, and J. Basay wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 1 - 2 for the visitors. I. Cardaveras came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over H. Lemi but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. With the clock showing 65 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of ksi7 resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by R. Amenábar in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. G. Maravillas was, after 66 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper H.
