Many thought D. Rijvers ought to have been awarded a penalty 10 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around V. Eibe after a determined run through the middle. They were singing the praises of F. Eibe made a spectacular save. After 36 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 1 - 1 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by J. Klipphausen. QuaCK! made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left A. Herzl completely alone with keeper V. Eibe, who made a spectacular block. J. Jáuregi has acquired a talent for predicting the movements of the opposing defence over the years and this almost resulted in a goal 42 minutes into the match. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. QuaCK! claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

Always a threat, P. Dehllind tore past his marker and placed the ball right at the feet of the waiting D. Grigorchuk who should have easily scored for Hectorinho, but the ball went wide. M. Fivaller hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Hectorinho's P. Monsheim an easy chance to knock it in for 1 - 2. Hectorinho's P. Dehllind made use of his speed to get free of the defence, but he still couldn't get a shot off 75 minutes into the match. QuaCK! put pressure on the visitors' central defence 82 minutes into the game, but A. García-Drake couldn't find an opening. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 84 minutes into the match, an alert A. García-Drake bagged the ball for QuaCK!, levelling the score to 2 - 2. QuaCK! had a good opportunity to take the lead as L. Niemann came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of V. Eibe. With 87 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. H. Pemsl put the ball away for 2 - 3. QuaCK! enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

QuaCK!'s best player was A. Herzl. B. Goosens on the other hand, had a terrible day. J. van Loo performed admirably for Hectorinho. However, V. Eibe made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 3.
