(391409017)

19-08-2012 23.25
Dark skies made the crowd of 12000 at
"LA ROMPE" UNIDO Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Håkan Mathiasson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Uģis Usāns and
Alexander Parmeggiani.
ROMPE" tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
They fielded: Ramírez - Igola, Rauque, Ugarte, Abalos - Palma, Waugh, Badilla, Flotow - Rodríguez, Tenorio.
Albacete had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
Lineup: Ward - Troya Zamudio, Rodríguez, Tapia, Canales - Zercalde, Soto, Canilao, Garín - Kosarne, Giron.
After 20 minutes of play,
M. Palma gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right.
A great save by keeper
L. Ward after 35 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
A. Badilla struck from the left with a real cannonball.
The home team will be cursing
H. Kosarne for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 1 - 1 after 39 minutes.
After 40 minutes Albacete's
A. Tapia limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Albacete's
H. Kosarne after 42 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 1 - 2 lead.
It was 1 - 2 at the break.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ROMPE", with 52 percent of the ball.
64 minutes in, Albacete's
A. Tapia received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
A drive down the left side allowed
A. Zercalde to get in close and score another goal for Albacete after 70 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 3.
Some things can only be learned through experience, and
A. Tapia should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting ROMPE" a goal with 84 minutes of the match played.
Albacete enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.
ROMPE"'s top performer was clearly
B. Flotow.
S. Ugarte was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating Albacete player was without a doubt
J. Garín.
J. Giron on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 1 - 3.
