It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 49519 that came out to Fantastic Arena. Ari Jensen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jacob Belschak and Gotthard Bültzingslöwen. For their match strategy, Tanathos had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. G. Galimberti looked great 15 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' N. Ortíz. With the clock showing 16 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Tanathos resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by A. Bustamante in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. It wasn't a pretty goal, but the free kick by N. Ravoicis after 17 minutes somehow found its way past the keeper. Tanathos takes the lead, 1 - 0! The visiting team's T. Myrland was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 31 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. 37 minutes in, the referee awarded Tanathos a penalty. N. Ravoicis coolly slotted it home for a 2 - 1 lead. R. Claro was called on to replace Winzi's F. Infante after 38 minutes following a nasty collision. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Winzi, with 59 percent of the ball.

A. Cantillano's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. Good work by the Tanathos defensive line after 61 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found L. Retana alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. It wasn't a good day at all for J. Nuñez. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. A lovely run by Tanathos's R. Morera left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 83 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when A. Wenc tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. Tanathos had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 84 minutes, but A. Borrello's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. After 87 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and J. Nuñez gave the Tanathos supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1. Winzi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

Tanathos's best player was L. Retana. On the other hand, G. Galimberti's play was disheartening. Most important Winzi player was A. Elizondo. However, N. Ortíz made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 1.
