Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of United. -Alberto- fans held their breath as A. Rivas scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! Cheers filled the stadium as M. Riippi broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to -Alberto-. -Alberto- solidified their lead at the 30 minute mark, as S. Leppä dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0. D. Zampedri made a brilliant save 35 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from G. Solano on the right hand side. Coming in from the right, -Alberto- had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 36 minutes, but A. Frost's attempt to finish was easily stopped. The home side's T. Skrzyszewski came close to extending the lead 38 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but J. Plunder managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. United almost scored after a swift counterattack 39 minutes into the game, but P. Padilla put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. -Alberto-'s T. Skrzyszewski was shown a yellow card after 41 minutes for slicing down an opponent. R. Carod had a lethal looking free kick that grazed the post after 42 minutes. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. -Alberto- enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

E. Gustavino should probably have put his team up another goal after 55 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by J. Plunder kept the visitors in the game. 69 minutes into the match, United replied and reduced the lead to 3 - 1. G. Solano scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. -Alberto- increased the lead as E. Gustavino struck to make the score 4 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. -Alberto-'s A. Rivas was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 85 minutes. The referee showed -Alberto-'s E. Gustavino the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. United were forced into a substitution as O. Tãnase couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing W. Pydo to come in off the bench. United's R. Carod was able to reply, after 89 minutes, making the score 4 - 2 with a well struck penalty. -Alberto-'s M. Riippi swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Possession in this half belonged to -Alberto-, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

Most important -Alberto- player was E. Gustavino. On the other hand, L. Navarro's play was disheartening. United's top performer was clearly M. Grifts. W. Pydo on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 2.
