Dark skies made the crowd of 17482 at Boulgou-Toghin Stadium a little nervous, but the rain held off. Slack defending gave Kilombo a chance to take the lead with 8 minutes played, but S. Volovski's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. With 18 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, M. Tommei needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. I. Bozga caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 29 minutes. This gave Kilombo the 1 - 0 lead. G. Ouyang of Team received a yellow card after 32 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Kilombo to 2 - 0 as H. Sena finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Kilombo put themselves up 3 - 0 when S. Volovski broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Confident in their lead, Kilombo's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Kilombo scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for S. Volovski after 42 minutes. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kilombo, with 68 percent of the ball.

Kilombo's S. Volovski swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. S. Volovski could have put Kilombo up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 55 minutes. F. Bultheel increased the lead for Kilombo to 5 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Content with how the game was proceeding, the Kilombo coach let M. Karankevich replace I. Bozga after 65 minutes. Kilombo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

S. Volovski performed admirably for Kilombo. T. Allaje on the other hand, had a terrible day. Team's top performer was clearly G. Ouyang. C. Schiattarella was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
