After 5 minutes, hickteam put themselves up 0 - 1, as J. Schwanenfeld finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. With 14 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed G. Gouveia of hickteam to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. 21 minutes into the game, Xaxinense had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to poor. The home crowd was not impressed when G. Gouveia came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 27 minutes. hickteam were now up 0 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of hickteam lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After 31 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave J. Nurmivaara a chance to increase the lead for hickteam, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. J. Fedozzi got left behind when hickteam's J. Nurmivaara made a sudden run forward after 39 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 0 - 5! 40 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 6 as J. Reiswig finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. hickteam's B. Iliev got himself booked for a foul. Halftime score was 0 - 6. hickteam claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 88 percent.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Xaxinense was able to get his message across, and raised Xaxinense's organisation to passable. After 61 minutes, hickteam's G. Gouveia burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7. At that, G. Gouveia was noted down for a hat trick! After 67 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Xaxinense found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to weak. 70 minutes into the game, Xaxinense seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. B. Iliev of hickteam took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 71 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 8. D. Schiedt wanted to play on, but the hickteam coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by R. Casariego. Content with how the game was proceeding, the hickteam coach let T. Morys replace R. Stoltenberg after 75 minutes. J. Schwanenfeld was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, hickteam's T. Morys managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 0 - 9 After 77 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for J. Nurmivaara who increased hickteam's lead to 0 - 10. That made three goals for J. Nurmivaara and he was marked down for the hat trick. Xaxinense's S. Zamfir was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 79 minutes. J. Reiswig received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 81 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 11. The hickteam fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. hickteam's B. Iliev seemed to stun everyone on the field with an accurate shot that seemed to come from nowhere. Somehow, the keeper managed to keep his cool and made a fantastic save. The visitors' J. Reiswig took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 87 minutes into the match. 0 - 12 for hickteam. By then J. Reiswig had scored three goals - a hat trick! hickteam had most of the ball, with 91 percent of possession.

Most important Xaxinense player was W. Velloso. M. Skarbek on the other hand, had a terrible day. J. Reiswig performed admirably for hickteam. On the other hand, B. Iliev's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 12.
