Bacamarte cut towards the middle after 29 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 1 - 2. With 36 minutes gone, Blyrrox had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, K. Sovetov did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. It was 1 - 2 at the break. Blyrrox enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

A. Veigl's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert T. Sarstedt was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Blyrrox. 2 - 2. The home side put themselves ahead 3 - 2 after 64 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from R. Goes, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. K. Sovetov squirmed through their central defence after 68 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 2. After 73 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Barriga was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. Cheers filled the stadium as M. Faro broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 2 to Blyrrox. By now, the players in Blyrrox felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 76 minutes, following yet another great corner, M. Faro's flick on at the near post reached P. Bacamarte, who was just wide with his snapshot - the ball went out for a goal kick. Ater 77 minutes L. Bañuelos seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Barriga making it 5 - 3.
