Futebol were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. I.dragon took the lead 2 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. Š. Talapka was the scorer. It was obvious that Futebol had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. 11 minutes into the match Futebol's L. Brasiliense head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. The referee showed I.dragon's G. Perrin the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, A. Moniz of Futebol spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. After 25 minutes, the I.dragon players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. After 27 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Futebol's A. Al-Yaseen being carried off the pitch and replaced by J. Madureira. Š. Talapka wanted to play on, but the I.dragon coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 30 minutes into the game by A. Bellagotti. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Futebol, with 51 percent of the ball.

Attacking on the wings was the choice for Futebol, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. J. Méndez was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for Futebol with a strike from the left, but A. Gamboa managed to ward the shot off for a corner. I.dragon's A. Bellagotti got himself booked for a foul. K. Bądziak increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. The home crowd cheered when, after 68 minutes, H. Chiers's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. With 70 minutes played, O. Narbaiza was very close to reducing the score for Futebol with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. After 74 minutes S. Fontes could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors' keeper. Futebol had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Futebol's best player was G. Di Marino. However, A. Moniz made a disastrous appearance. I.dragon's top performer was clearly A. Gamboa. R. Ziebarth was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
