previous 3/10 next 5/10  Sele-Fla 6 - 0 Malabares (391564738)

19489 punters turned up at Sele-Fla H Super Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Pontus Hagelell was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Krisztián Farkas and Bram Van Beuren. Sele-Fla decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. Starters: Pavani - Cintra, Ungar, Gschwend, Portela - Brænd, Lumbroso, Dęga, Tiziu - Reizinho, de Moraes.

Malabares tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Lineup: Macacheira - Ranua, Kudroň, Lopes Brito - Morales, Fifo, De Souza Ferreyra, Arrabal, Gyatso - Panoch, Bade.

Pressing was the tactic of the day for Malabares. Sele-Fla took the lead after 7 minutes as a result of G. de Moraes's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. Malabares were close to putting the equaliser away after 19 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to R. Panoch in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. M. Dęga squirmed through their central defence after 28 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. V. Portela of Sele-Fla received a yellow card after 34 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Sele-Fla scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for G. de Moraes after 35 minutes. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Sele-Fla enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

Sele-Fla solidified their lead at the 55 minute mark, as N. Tiziu dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Sele-Fla's N. Ungar increasing the lead to 5 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of Sele-Fla were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Malabares's J. Bade showed his experience after 84 minutes, as he expertly set himself up to take advantage of a rebound off the crossbar, but his shot was tipped harmlessly out of the way. Proving his experience, G. de Moraes scored 6 - 0 for Sele-Fla after putting some pressure on the opposing defence at a critical moment. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for G. de Moraes. Possession in this half belonged to Sele-Fla, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

R. Reizinho performed admirably for Sele-Fla. T. Cintra turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Malabares player was without a doubt M. Ranua. E. De Souza Ferreyra on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 0.
