Lecueder left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 70 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. J. Bajac was the replacement. Febo's J. Bajac increased the lead to 4 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 70 minutes. Confident in their lead, Febo's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. M. Barilko's curling free kick almost found the goal for Febo, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. Febo had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

P. Almada performed admirably for Febo. However, C. Sánchez made a disastrous appearance. Peñarol's best player was R. Egdmann. On the other hand, P. Pizzani's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 1.
