Leimeister flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. It was obvious that Malpertuis had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. K. Lundén increased the lead for Malpertuis to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Falou, with 53 percent of the ball.

Malpertuis put themselves up 3 - 0 when K. Benjaminsen broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. G. Vasold was called on to replace Malpertuis's S. Buscaglia after 60 minutes following a nasty collision. Malpertuis's C. Eremia had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 67 minutes having been played. T. Baerwolff was the replacement. Falou's N. Alberer refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 82 minutes. Falou came close to narrowing the gap when R. Anglet's free kick nearly made it past the outstretched hands of A. Alegre after 84 minutes. T. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Malpertuis lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Falou's G.
