Things were going to get worse for the visitors. A. Banduch squirmed through their central defence after 24 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of Power were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Power enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave K. Boniewicz from Power a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 54 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A. Banduch of Power was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. P. Esquivel almost put Power ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. P. Esquivel could have increased the lead after 80 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Borussia's R. Maurer got himself booked for a foul. Philippon was the new captain of Power - handed the armband by the departing player. Power's M. Barslev swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. E. Gálvez of Borussia received a yellow card after 87 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Power had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Power's best player was F. Moratall. M. Barslev was a disappointment, however. Most important Borussia player was J. Gotfredsen. However, R. Maurer made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 0.
