Coming in from the right, FENOCO had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 37 minutes, but A. Tanski's attempt to finish was easily stopped. 3 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Independiente, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

After 61 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by T. Olsen might have resulted in another goal for FENOCO. However, O.
