Toro who should have easily scored for ROROS, but the ball went wide. 36 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as A. Sluijter finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Deportivo's P. Pati got himself booked for a foul. Deportivo almost scored after a swift counterattack 40 minutes into the game, but A. Anev put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. Deportivo's V. Benincasa was shown a yellow card after 42 minutes for slicing down an opponent. With 44 minutes played, L. Fernández of ROROS fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 0 - 2 was the halftime score. Deportivo had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

B. Salvo's speed was clear to see after 59 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released N. Toro who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 1 - 2. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, P. Pati would have put Deportivo up another goal 62 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 70 minutes, ROROS did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, H. Zerboni was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 2. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when J. Kreis was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 75 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! Deportivo claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

D. Arnaudin performed admirably for ROROS. On the other hand, H. Moreno's play was disheartening. Deportivo's best player was D. Tejada. M. Cammarota on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 2.
