Clouds darkened the skies at fc plandas Arena as 6935 spectators turned up for the match. Alonso, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in plandas's A. Alonso increasing the lead to 3 - 0. C. Obregón dispatched a majestic long shot 24 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. After 66 minutes, C. Obregón put plandas ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The players of plandas now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. A. Puerto of Hincha was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 75 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as S. M. Pachello performed admirably for plandas. C. Monroy was a disappointment, however. Hincha's top performer was clearly A. Puerto. On the other hand, J. Mignogna's play was disheartening. The match ends 7 - 0.
