Clouds darkened the skies at xelaFB Arena as 12000 spectators turned up for the match. Jim Hummel was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Niklas Björnsson and Arne Eiswoog. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for NICKO, the score now 1 - 1. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to xelaFB, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

xelaFB's R. Carrillo tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, M. Tejada got himself booked. The manager of xelaFB was not happy. After 77 minutes, the home side was awarded a penalty. The visitors protested wildly but the referee was adamant. J.
