81324 spectators had come to
Primetime Palace this cloudy day.
Leo Joliot was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Roland Mårtensson and
Carlos Téllez.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Primetimers.
They fielded: Cannizzaro - Diaz, Leiber, Blackman - Duriet, Rujală, Levannier, Akşan, Baeza - Egas, Bourdier.
Golden had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Faure - Damiani, Kongar, Manfredi, Stokłos - Kuhl, Byriel, Perucchini, Garcia Neto, Csepregi - Sidenskär.
Primetimers were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
Golden were relying on their ability to counter-attack.
C. Perucchini had a good try after 25 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide.
Primetimers had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead.
With 27 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as
J. Diaz flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
29 minutes into the match Golden's
J. Sidenskär head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately.
Unfortunately for Primetimers,
M. Rujală was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.
D. Guilbault replaced him.
S. Leiber of Primetimers was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
It was 1 - 0 at the break.
Primetimers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.
With 49 minutes played, Primetimers put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to

Primetimers were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings.
C. Perucchini stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Golden the goal to make it 2 - 1.
Golden's
M. Csepregi had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 77 minutes having been played.
Z. Hrabčík was the replacement.
After 78 minutes,
R. Byriel sent the corner kick right to
C. Damiani who headed it sharply past the keeper. 2 - 2!
78 minutes into the game, Primetimers wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
S. Leiber gave
T. Matos a quick hug as he left the field.
Attacking on the wings was the choice for Primetimers, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack.
Primetimers were very close to putting themselves one up after 78 minutes as
R. Blackman got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide.
The home side put themselves ahead 3 - 2 after 79 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from
J. Bourdier, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing.
Primetimers had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.
The most dominating Primetimers player was without a doubt
R. Blackman.
D. Guilbault was a disappointment, however.
C. Damiani performed admirably for Golden.
On the other hand,
Z. Hrabčík's play was disheartening.
The match ends 3 - 2.
