Making his way up the middle 34 minutes into the match, G. Pellerin almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert A. Bekooi blocked it to keep the score level. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Bombers, with 57 percent of the ball.

A review of the gameplan helped Shameless get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. Bombers took the lead 60 minutes in, as F.
