(392028085)

30-07-2012 01.00
The 32649 spectators at
Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 MM were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Carmine Toni was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Diego Lestón and
Hans Jansson.
Miglia started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
Lineup: Uğur - Bückeburg, Velez, Kummer - Schnorf, Prusak, 東 (Azuma), Pin Kim, Néri - Menegon, Holtenby.
Tigers.FC decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Starters: Aubert - Goossens, Mendel, Periquito - Košař, Arazi, Schwengelschwester, de Carvalho, Ugaz - Diabang, Waugh.
It was an obvious ambition of Miglia to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
Miglia broke through on the left 16 minutes into the game, with
W. Néri firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead.
The home team will be cursing
D. Schwengelschwester for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 1 - 1 after 23 minutes.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 30 minute mark, Miglia's
W. Néri hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
1 - 2 was the score with 31 minutes played, after
T. Diabang cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Tigers.FC.
S. Menegon enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again.
40 minutes into the match,
R. Mendel came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide.
E. Arazi looked to be heading one way when he unexpectedly passed the ball to
R. Košař. The move caught everyone off-guard, including his teammate, who panicked and kicked the ball out of play by accident.
1 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tigers.FC, with 52 percent of the ball.
Due to some great work on the right wing Miglia's
G. Prusak was able to even the score after 51 minutes to make the score 2 - 2.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
L. Pin Kim from Miglia a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 54 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs
R. Košař found it hard to get back into position.
After 71 minutes, Tigers.FC were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise.
A. Ugaz did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans.
S. Uğur looked great 72 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'
R. Periquito.
Tigers.FC claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.
Miglia's best player was
H. Bückeburg.
N. Holtenby was a disappointment, however.
Tigers.FC's top performer was clearly
L. Waugh.
On the other hand,
A. Ugaz's play was disheartening.
The match ends 2 - 2.
