25024 spectators had found their way to Cajun Crawlers Arena, despite the heavy rain. Paul Sollweck was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Marc-Étienne Théroux and Igor Sperber. For their match strategy, GOREXTRE had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. E. Jiménez had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when M. Holán slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against D. Rodrigue, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to A. Schiavello, but the Crawlers player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! After 28 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and J. Urteaga gave the Crawlers supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. I. Kay dispatched a majestic long shot 29 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. Coming in on the left, G. Grubenacker did everything right to get a goal for GOREXTRE after 31 minutes, but his finishing shot was stabbed clear by the keeper. A. Riva increased the lead for Crawlers to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! At this point, it was obvious that the players of Crawlers lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 38 minutes in, GOREXTRE's W. Potts received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. S. Weaver's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Crawlers, he bravely continued in the match. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Crawlers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

58 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as A. Schiavello broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Crawlers. Crawlers's D. Steinbichl got himself booked for a foul. 80 minutes into the game, GOREXTRE seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. J. Ameters squirmed through their central defence after 85 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0. With 89 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of GOREXTRE resulted in a counterattack that set M. Holán free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. Crawlers solidified their lead at the 89 minute mark, as A. Riva dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 6 - 0. Crawlers had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

J. Urteaga performed admirably for Crawlers. D. Rodrigue turned in a dismal performance, however. GOREXTRE's top performer was clearly G. Grubenacker. On the other hand, J. Melichar's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 0.
