Weapons clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. With the match clock at 1 minutes, Borough modified their style of play a little bit. D. Cuesta had to be alert to tip C. Dumbrăveanu's fantastic penalty kick over the bar, denying Weapons a chance at the lead. 27 minutes into the game, C. Butler had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came E. Jurado. A free kick aimed at the keeper's far post almost gave Borough the lead 29 minutes in, but the ball just wasn't able to squirm its way through the defensive wall. Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile E. Jurado. Borough's W. Moore managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 35 minutes. 0 - 1. A. Ruiz Vadillo of Weapons was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The referee showed Borough's E. Moellinger the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Some things can only be learned through experience, and M. Wing should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Weapons a goal with 44 minutes of the match played. With 44 minutes played, Borough's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to A. Chiariti he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 2. Weapons's Z. Cohen had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 44 minutes having been played. C. Kirkpatrick was the replacement. 0 - 2 was the halftime score. Borough enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

Borough increased their lead after 53 minutes when L. Lagartzis broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 54 minutes Weapons's A. Piccinonno had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. M. Newsom came in to replace him. The home crowd was not impressed when W. Moore came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 70 minutes. Borough were now up 0 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Borough lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. As usual, A. Chiariti tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. After 83 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed C. Bée to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 5. C. Kirkpatrick got a fingertip on L. Lagartzis's shot from the left 86 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Borough, with 66 percent of the ball.

Most important Weapons player was A. Jakubenas. However, D. Coiros made a disastrous appearance. A. Chiariti performed admirably for Borough. M. Wing turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
