Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Meade. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Chaoticians. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 6 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from J. Galicia, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Chaoticians will have to do without B. Bower for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 32 minute mark. He was substituted by L. Shields. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 33 minutes, Meade tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. E. Kizhaev could have increased the lead after 36 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. It was 1 - 0 at the break. With 54 minutes played, Meade's J. Galicia almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. With 60 minutes played, the Chaoticians coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. M. Schwarz came on, N. Ferguson had to leave the fray. The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed Chaoticians's coach gave C. Muse the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Ó. Plazas reluctantly left the field. Chaoticians's C. Muse was shown a yellow card after 60 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Chaoticians had a chance to level the score as L. Shields suddenly found himself free in the middle of the box with only the keeper to beat, but he misjudged the finish, and only managed to hit the bar. After 73 minutes of play, Chaoticians's J. Guillory unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and W. Quintanilla slotted it into the net for 1 - 1. The referee showed Meade's E. Kizhaev the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Chaoticians had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 83 minutes in when M. Glenn came up alone against D. Gonzalez who managed a block. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Meade, with 56 percent of the ball.

E. Kizhaev performed admirably for Meade. R. Stănciuc turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Chaoticians player was R. Smith. On the other hand, C. Muse's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 1.
