The home side's T. Escobar curled a free kick home after 74 minutes, putting viresi ahead 8 - 0. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for T. Escobar. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. N. Baštić squirmed through their central defence after 75 minutes, increasing the lead to 9 - 0. With 77 minutes played, viresi's T. Escobar almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. viresi had most of the ball, with 83 percent of possession.
