Clear skies welcomed the 82129 spectators who had made their way to
Coloso Luis Alberto Spinetta.

Termanators had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.

Rockolla started off with a 4-5-1 lineup.
The following players took the field: Tjäderling - Adrianopoli, Frisgaard, Collu, Böniger - Aponte, Palomino, Gragnani, Nielsen, Blatti - Van Herck.
Termanators used their skill at pressing to cut off the attack angles of their opponents all over the field.
The strategy for Rockolla was to use their ability to press.
Termanators were very close to putting themselves one up after 28 minutes as
P. Mocanu got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide.
Termanators's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle.
The pressing tactics used by Rockolla were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times.
The most controversial moment of the game was likely the penalty given after 40 minutes. Rockolla's
P. Gragnani kept his concentration, despite the upset crowd, and calmly put the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 1.
G. Camacho was called on to replace Termanators's
M. Håkansson after 41 minutes following a nasty collision.
G. Camacho was handed the Termanators captain's armband.
After 42 minutes,
V. Casados got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away.
0 - 1 was the halftime score.
Possession in this half belonged to Rockolla, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.
As the game started to slip away for Termanators, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
G. Camacho of Termanators seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by
P. Mocanu.
Rockolla's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends.
At this time in the match, Termanators were using their skill at pressing to successfully stifle the game.
70 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Rockolla substitution.
R. Miró came on for
P. Gragnani.
71 minutes into the game,
P. Böniger had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
D. Boa Vista.
Termanators broke through on the left 72 minutes into the game, with
F. Kajfež firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead.
With 72 minutes played, the Rockolla coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
L. Peri came on,
T. Frisgaard had to leave the fray.
The Rockolla coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy.
After 73 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
P. Mocanu might have resulted in another goal for Termanators. However,
A. Tjäderling made a spectacular save.
In an effort to secure the lead, Termanators changed their tactic after 75 minutes.
M. Alomar could have increased the lead after 80 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
81 minutes into the game Rockolla's
J. Palomino found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 2 - 2.
Rockolla had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.
A. Martini performed admirably for Termanators.
However,
Y. Toledano made a disastrous appearance.
The most dominating Rockolla player was without a doubt
D. Van Herck.
D. Boa Vista turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 2 - 2.
