The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 20890 had shown up at El mOnUmentaL for the match. A 5-3-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Anarquia99. The following players took the field: Rózsavölgyi - Amacifuén, Longhi, Pierru, Monfragüe, Porucznik - Gouley, Wülser, Niittykoski - Heredia, Pizarro.

sUciOs mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. For their match strategy, Anarquia99 had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. They were singing the praises of Y. Ivanir 5 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to sUciOs. With 6 minutes played, sUciOs's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to E. Persson he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 2 - 0. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave P. Monfragüe from Anarquia99 a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 13 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! sUciOs players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Halftime score was 2 - 0. sUciOs had most of the ball, with 75 percent of possession.

sUciOs had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Y. Ivanir had a fantastic opportunity to put sUciOs up another goal 52 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Content with how the game was proceeding, the sUciOs coach let F. Mirzaei replace C. Berquier after 56 minutes. N. Carlsson wanted to play on, but the sUciOs coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 62 minutes into the game by J. Ezpeleta. The sUciOs players could smell victory in the air. A. D'Aprile wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for E. Colburn after 70 minutes. E. Colburn was the new captain of sUciOs - handed the armband by the departing player. sUciOs's Y. Ivanir increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 78 minutes. By now, the players in sUciOs felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. sUciOs put in a good effort on the right, but S. Caprioli saw his volley fly wide of the mark 81 minutes into the game. Good work by the Anarquia99 defensive line after 82 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found G. Heredia alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. The referee showed Anarquia99's J. Niittykoski the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. sUciOs were worse off though, as I. Borsay was unable to finish the game and no more substitutes were available! Possession in this half belonged to sUciOs, who controlled the ball 80 percent of the time.

The most dominating sUciOs player was without a doubt P. Grego. On the other hand, E. Villar's play was disheartening. R. Pizarro performed admirably for Anarquia99. O. Amacifuén turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
