12370 punters turned up at
Arselonnna Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Manuel Boudard was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Carmelo Crispino and
Julio Yanguas.
Arselonnna started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
Lineup: Nora - Suazo, Angeles, Okasawa, Altamirano - Neciosup, Verástegui, Muchotrigo, Puig - Velásquez, Cachuán.
cristina decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
The following players took the field: 靖圣 (Jingsheng) - Tarrillo, Villanova, Anchante, Guzmán - Pflucker, Helguero, Malo, Montedoro - Ayquipa, 祖才 (Zucai).
After 5 minutes, Arselonnna sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
S. Altamirano, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 0.
The Arselonnna free kick 18 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
R. Muchotrigo, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 2 - 0!
27 minutes into the match, the visitors reduced the lead to 2 - 1 as a free kick by
T. Tarrillo slunk past the home side's goalkeeper.
The crowd was silenced 28 minutes into the match as the visiting team's
T. Anchante came in from the left, levelling the score to 2 - 2.
It might be a while before the fans see Arselonnna's
S. Altamirano again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 29 minute mark. He was replaced by
J. Vásquez de Velasco.
2 - 2 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by cristina, with 52 percent of the ball.
Making his way up the middle 65 minutes into the match,
M. Puig almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
罗. 靖圣 (Jingsheng) blocked it to keep the score level.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 69 minute mark, Arselonnna's
M. Puig hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
The corner kick from
J. Suazo was powerfully met by the head of
R. Muchotrigo to make the score 3 - 2.
Arselonnna were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 73 minutes,
R. Velásquez swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 4 - 2.
By now, the players in Arselonnna felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
With 77 minutes played, Arselonnna's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
T. Okasawa he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 5 - 2.
Arselonnna's
R. Muchotrigo was shown a yellow card after 77 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
80 minutes into the game, cristina's attack got through on the right, but
Y. Ayquipa couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms.
Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.
Arselonnna's best player was
P. Cachuán.
On the other hand,
J. Nora's play was disheartening.
The most dominating cristina player was without a doubt
Y. Ayquipa.
罗. 靖圣 (Jingsheng) turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 5 - 2.
