Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 43543 to
Bite of Dunkleosteus.
Elio Quaqquero was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Tommy Håkansson and
Santino Riso.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Dunkleosteus.
The following players took the field: Graumann - Kellerbacher, Rutschmann, Ostos Pérez - Bartnik, Kievit, Nyyssölä, Sáez Barrio, Nessman - De Nil, Ølholm.
Grande started off with a 2-5-3 lineup.
They fielded: Schorlemmer - Mohar, Rutigliano - Rácz, Serfőző, Rada, Gera, Panduru - Segovia, Tornesch, Homeyer.
Dunkleosteus tried to focus their attacks down the middle.
Grande mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle.
Dunkleosteus were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
They were singing the praises of
H. Ølholm 5 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Dunkleosteus.

V. Serfőző alone in front of the goal after 12 minutes but his shot was woeful.
Grande had a chance to level the score as
M. Homeyer suddenly found himself free in the middle of the box with only the keeper to beat, but he misjudged the finish, and only managed to hit the bar.
The visitors refused to give in and, after 29 minutes,
M. Homeyer evened things up as he finished off a perfect pass from the right. 1 - 1
After 34 minutes of play,
M. Kellerbacher gave the home team a 2 - 1 lead after an attack coming in from the right.
After 38 minutes, Grande's
V. Mohar fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit!
2 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Grande had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.
K. Nyyssölä left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
B. Bild was the replacement.
Dunkleosteus increased the lead as
R. Bartnik struck to make the score 3 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
With things not going too well on the field, the Grande coach made the decision to swap the positions of
A. Segovia and
V. Mohar with 59 minutes played.
With 60 minutes played, the Grande coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
A. Mleczak came on,
V. Mohar had to leave the fray.
As the game started to slip away for Grande, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
69 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
A. De Nil broke through, making the score 4 - 1 for Dunkleosteus.
The players of Dunkleosteus now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
A bit later, Grande's
I. Panduru easily reduced the lead to 4 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence.
A. Kievit had a fantastic opportunity to put Dunkleosteus up another goal 89 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
Grande enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.
Dunkleosteus's top performer was clearly
T. Rutschmann.
B. Bild turned in a dismal performance, however.
A. Mleczak performed admirably for Grande.
A. Segovia on the other hand, had a terrible day.
