Alchemists claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

As the 60 minute mark approached, the Campeonas coach decided it was time for a substitution. A. Kolu reluctantly made way for H. Krzysztoporski turned into 2 - 0 without a problem. Confident in their lead, Campeonas's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. M. Weissmann made a brilliant save 79 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from A. Xanthos on the right hand side. Possession in this half belonged to Alchemists, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Campeonas's best player was R. Beltrán. G. Krzysztoporski turned in a dismal performance, however. Alchemists's top performer was clearly C. Arteaga. N. Quispe on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 0.
