previous 10/10 next 2/10  HexBreaker 1 - 2 kr4kii (392251397)

Clouds darkened the skies at BreakersDome F.C as 21791 spectators turned up for the match. Tomas Niklasson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Anton-Michael Hacke-Dicht and Stefan Ghitã. HexBreaker started off with a 4-3-3 lineup. Lineup: Liske - Toneatti, Dimitrov, Pubill, Ianni - Foietta, Hempenius, Nefasto - Shareef, Piwowarski, Lilja.

kr4kii had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Inclán - Halmetsalo, Steinebrunner, Faría, Barrios - Quinn, Tinoco, Mercado, Arreaga - Henrique, Ascanio.

HexBreaker immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 8 minutes into the match left kr4kii's J. Tinoco completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave J. Steinebrunner from kr4kii a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 22 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! M. Ianni of HexBreaker had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. B. Campllonch came in to finish the match. With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 32 minutes played, T. Hempenius of HexBreaker made the score 1 - 1. The referee showed HexBreaker's Z. Shareef the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. HexBreaker's T. Hempenius was shown a yellow card after 39 minutes for slicing down an opponent. S. Quinn was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so kr4kii's M. Reine had to come off the bench. When L. Liske was badly injured by a couple of strong tackles after 41 minutes, HexBreaker fans were unhappy to discover that it was not possible to make a substitution. A field player had to replace the goalkeeper, and this difficult task fell to D. Nefasto . It was 1 - 1 at the break. kr4kii had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

HexBreaker's A. Toneatti got himself booked for a foul. The coach of kr4kii wanted to try to change things around after 66 minutes, and gave new tactical instructions. HexBreaker pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. 1 - 2 was the score with 75 minutes played, after D. Halmetsalo cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for kr4kii. kr4kii enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

HexBreaker's top performer was clearly P. Lilja. D. Nefasto on the other hand, had a terrible day. V. Ascanio performed admirably for kr4kii. However, A. Faría made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 2.
