Budim were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. N. Vostřel behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 8 minutes as he gave the ball away to V. Kolcsár. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Budim had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. With 26 minutes played P. Krajewski almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. S. Subramanian was called on to replace FCP1898's F. Hakikat after 27 minutes following a nasty collision. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, A. Stancu took over the role of being the FCP1898 captain. Slack defending gave Budim a chance to take the lead with 28 minutes played, but F. Pačnik's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. B. Kolacia had a good opportunity to give FCP1898 the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. The referee showed FCP1898's U. Cantarella the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Budim had a chance to take the lead after P. Krajewski's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 33 minutes. After 37 minutes, FCP1898's U. Cantarella fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! Budim took the lead after 38 minutes as a result of M. Manfredi's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. Budim put themselves up 2 - 0 when K. Uttergren broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Budim enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

With 53 minutes played, H. Ascanio could have brought this one home for Budim as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. FCP1898 were able to draw a foul with their counterattacks, but the shot from N. Vostřel went into the arms of the keeper. After 65 minutes, K. Uttergren put Budim ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Budim's V. Kolcsár swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Possession in this half belonged to Budim, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.

Budim's best player was P. Krajewski. K. Uttergren on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating FCP1898 player was without a doubt S. Subramanian. However, L. Escobal made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
