The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave U. Bar Lev from XtrnavaX a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 40 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! FCP were forced into a substitution as M. Ounis couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing A. Dean to come in off the bench. Halftime score was 2 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FCP, with 51 percent of the ball.

56 minutes in, and XtrnavaX were able to score the equalising goal to make it 3 - 3 when R. Heisterbrook picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 60 minutes into the match, and A. Dean wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 3 - 4 for the visitors. XtrnavaX made it 4 - 4 as M. Skjødt got a touch to the floated corner kick and flicked the ball to D. Hackett who whipped a low drive in off the far post. The guests took the lead 79 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in L. Sedlačko scoring to make it 4 - 5. The crowd chanted their encouragement as XtrnavaX's M. Skjødt came in from the right after 80 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 5 - 5. FCP enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

With the scores being level after 90 minutes, the match went into extra time. A. Torrisi gave XtrnavaX the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 6 - 5 With that XtrnavaX had won the game in extra time. XtrnavaX's best player was P. Pirttilahti. G. Indurain on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important FCP player was T. Rogersson. A. Dean was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 5.
