Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 17200 to Would you love a Monster-Stadium. Taiga Kunisada was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Oskar Fijak and Paul Kjellmo. C. Piciarelli's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert T. Nyhby was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Lordi. 1 - 1. 1 - 2 was the score with 73 minutes played, after O. Pettersson cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Esmeralda. O. Pettersson received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 80 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The Esmeralda fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. M. Iza left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 81 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. J. Pater was the replacement. G. Alexandersson became the new Esmeralda captain. With 84 minutes played, R. Zagni of Lordi fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The home crowd was not impressed when O. Pettersson came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 85 minutes. Esmeralda were now up 1 - 4. That made three goals for O. Pettersson and he was marked down for the hat trick. By now, the players in Esmeralda felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. The visitors' T. Schief took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 86 minutes into the match. 1 - 5 for Esmeralda. Esmeralda had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.

Most important Lordi player was C. Morar. On the other hand, V. Klinckenberg's play was disheartening. The most dominating Esmeralda player was without a doubt A. Minoggio. O. Pettersson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 5.
