It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why I. Dalmau found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. Guspini took the lead 37 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. W. Wiączek was the scorer. Guspini's D. Dumont got himself booked for a foul. A. Adam of Giga87 was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. With 40 minutes played, Guspini put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was A. Mporelis. The corner kick from F. Musi was powerfully met by the head of L. Heisel to make the score 0 - 3. The home crowd was not impressed when F. Musi came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 43 minutes. Guspini were now up 0 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Guspini lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. It was 0 - 4 at the break. Guspini enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 77 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped Giga87 get back to a passable organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. 54 minutes into the game, Guspini were awarded a penalty and F. Musi was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 5 rolling the ball in by the right post. W. Wiączek could have put his team up another goal 58 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. 63 minutes in, Guspini's G. Del Casale received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 74 minutes into the game, Giga87 seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. With 81 minutes played, G. Focruz nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. With 84 minutes gone, Guspini had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, D. Dumont did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Guspini had most of the ball, with 70 percent of possession.

Giga87's top performer was clearly M. Tosto. On the other hand, A. Buscarinu's play was disheartening. D. Dumont performed admirably for Guspini. L. Heisel turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
