Clouds darkened the skies at ORPASTADIUM as 17750 spectators turned up for the match. Jorge Duarte was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Eddo Kreek and Kari Kaivosoja. Sdatti took the lead after 16 minutes making the score 0 - 1. D. Yusta placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. ORPAS's J. Voshol put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 25 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. ORPAS could have put themselves ahead after 31 minutes but A. Lechman missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. After 32 minutes, Sdatti put themselves up 1 - 2, as E. Vasıl finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. Halftime score was 1 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ORPAS, with 51 percent of the ball.

ORPAS's N. Bisiacco made a successful breakthrough on the left after 52 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. After 53 minutes of game time, S. Bakalli had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but G. Thomson was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. With 55 minutes played, O. Torsvik of ORPAS fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After 59 minutes of play, A. Kajetanowicz equalised for ORPAS after an elegant attack from the right. After 80 minutes ORPAS's N. Bisiacco contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. ORPAS claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

After the regular 90 minutes, the agony of extra time followed. After 102 minutes, A. Kajetanowicz came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 3 - 2, giving ORPAS the lead. Extra time over, ORPAS were the victors! The most dominating ORPAS player was without a doubt J. Roskam. G. Thomson on the other hand, had a terrible day. Sdatti's top performer was clearly P. Vesnaver. E. Vasıl was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
