Clouds darkened the skies at The saveriones stadium as 25852 spectators turned up for the match. Pianeta had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: den Ridder - Rüdgisch, Soto Camino, Wisserburg - Łoś, Delorenzi, Agostini, Handler, Kapuściński - Arturi, Lucien.

Pressing was the tactic of the day for triforcepc. triforcepc's G. Fata tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 24 minutes in, Pianeta's C. Handler received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 32 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from N. Casolari, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. After 33 minutes Pianeta's D. Wisserburg contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. After 35 minutes, G. Łoś sent the corner kick right to C. Agostini who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 1! The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Pianeta's C. Agostini after 36 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 1 - 2 lead. Just a few inches to the right, and the visitors could have had a goal 37 minutes into the match. G. Łoś surely wishes he could do that free kick over again. With 38 minutes gone, Pianeta had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, C. Handler did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. The visitors' D. Lucien took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 39 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for Pianeta. 1 - 3 was the score after the first half. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

57 minutes into the match, triforcepc's N. Casolari collected a ball sent down the right and put it in the back of the net, narrowing the score to 2 - 3. After 73 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for D. Lucien who increased Pianeta's lead to 2 - 4. Always quick and a menace to his opponents, D. Añón was very close to getting through after 77 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. After 79 minutes S. Sandnes could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors' keeper. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

The most dominating triforcepc player was without a doubt S. Sandnes. However, E. Tanzler made a disastrous appearance. Pianeta's top performer was clearly D. Arturi. C. Agostini was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 4.
