Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 28545 to
Fc H.I.F.K. Arena.
Sebastiano Cascetta was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Fidelio Vivar and
Trevor Mula.
H.I.F.K. started off with a 2-5-3 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Di Lorenzo - Dobrică, Droste - Lehtoranta, Tumini, Wersebe, Nawara, Boekweg - Ravea, Kuznetsov, Ravela.
Partizan had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
They fielded: Baronti - Hulpiau, Metsemakers, Thiel - Clapp, Baumgartner, Tali, Hochleitner, Marski - Håkansson, 德泰 (Detai).
For their match strategy, H.I.F.K. had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible.
Today, Partizan's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks.
5 minutes into the game,
E. Metsemakers had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide.
H.I.F.K.'s
E. Tumini was shown a yellow card after 19 minutes for slicing down an opponent.

H. Ravea came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving H.I.F.K. the lead.

Confident in their lead, H.I.F.K.'s players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
M. Ravela squirmed through their central defence after 40 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0.
The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by H.I.F.K., with 60 percent of the ball.
After 76 minutes Partizan's
F. Baronti limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
The referee showed Partizan's
J. Hulpiau the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
H.I.F.K. enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.
Most important H.I.F.K. player was
M. Ravela.
However,
K. Nawara made a disastrous appearance.
Partizan's best player was
M. Håkansson.
H. Hochleitner turned in a dismal performance, however.
