Clouds darkened the skies at
AkçayAtik Arena as 15000 spectators turned up for the match.
Alfredo Lobatón was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Sandro Tarantola and
Francesco Cipriano.
AkçayAtikSpor decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
They fielded: Bornum - Dinçkaya, Couceiro, Frani, Kropík - Oğuztan, Maillard, Gogushev, Gündüzhan - Hilgers, Calabró.
ORDUSPOR tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Battiston - Mak, Lenoël, Zharkov - Stokvis, Carnevale, Cortazzo, Eteş, Langholz - Dahlér, van den Ham.
The wings were the focus of most of AkçayAtikSpor's attacks today.
The visitors could have taken the lead from a free kick after 12 minutes, if it wasn't for the jaw-dropping save by
J. Bornum.
The terraces were silenced after 28 minutes when ORDUSPOR's
F. Cortazzo put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right.
0 - 1 was the score after the first half.
ORDUSPOR claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.
After 59 minutes, ORDUSPOR's
J. Mak burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2.
The players of ORDUSPOR now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
ORDUSPOR increased their lead after 63 minutes when
J. Mak broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay.
67 minutes in, ORDUSPOR's
E. Langholz received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
N. Dinçkaya was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so AkçayAtikSpor's
C. Mazlum had to come off the bench.
AkçayAtikSpor's
J. Kropík left the field after 72 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
J. Halse.
A. Eteş came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
J. Bornum but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
After 74 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
F. Cortazzo a chance to increase the lead for ORDUSPOR, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ORDUSPOR, with 64 percent of the ball.
Most important AkçayAtikSpor player was
C. Mazlum.
However,
J. Halse made a disastrous appearance.
ORDUSPOR's best player was
S. Dahlér.
On the other hand,
E. Langholz's play was disheartening.
The match ends 0 - 4.
