It had rained all day, but 15899 hardy fans still made it out to Alianz Arena. Helmut Radimák was the appointed referee with assistance provided by László Czaniga and Gheorghe Tãnãsescu. Urrue made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. B. Asil came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over J. Weissmann but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. 28 minutes into the game, B. Asil had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Z. Dóra. A well placed corner kick from M. Balsbach was followed by E. Delaloye's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Forestry, the score now 0 - 2. Confident in their lead, Forestry's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Curtea's V. Popoviciu was shown a yellow card after 39 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Forestry, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

The home crowd was not impressed when T. Pădurariu came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 50 minutes. Forestry were now up 0 - 3. 63 minutes into the match, O. Barbera came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. After 88 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Z. Dóra who increased Forestry's lead to 0 - 4. 89 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as L. Urrue finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Forestry enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

Curtea's top performer was clearly V. Hantea. On the other hand, J. Weissmann's play was disheartening. Most important Forestry player was Z. Dóra. D. Baba was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
