The counterattacks of FC_Nakatzu were deadly and 30 minutes into the game, N. Ikonomopoulos received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 2 - 2. Many thought Z. Tóth ought to have been awarded a penalty 36 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around C. Lingenhag after a determined run through the middle. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Rp lucerne, with 54 percent of the ball.

FC_Nakatzu's L. Lunde tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 70 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Rp lucerne substitution.
