Mascó's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. With 31 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Frenen resulted in a counterattack that set J. Fouques free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. After 34 minutes, Percasoles_Uno sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached W. Bruderer, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 0. Frenen's right side looked dangerous after 37 minutes, as A. Grønning broke through. J. Hachorek continued to stifle them, however, as he made the save look easy. Percasoles_Uno's W. Bruderer was shown a yellow card after 42 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Percasoles_Uno's C. Takamura was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 43 minutes. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Percasoles_Uno enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

The Frenen coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. 48 minutes into the match C.
