A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 20800 to R.M-tbilisi. Martin Winiger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Miguel Martínez and Dan 'Ido' Ericsson. Everyone was excited about the upcoming Tbilisi derby and the crowd was divided evenly. FC Creed started off with a 4-3-3 lineup. Lineup: Náray - López Negredo, Kokkalis, Fagà, Žilinský - Zanin, Ohtonen, Langeneke - Nazaryan, Toften, Zagoruyko.

BOMBORA decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players took the field: Mebus - Hüzün, Heward, Derwich - Zwerger, Yasam, Rigault, Tavola, Buche - Miglino, Manninger.

The visitors grabbed the lead after T. Zwerger's free kick succeeded, resulting in a score of 0 - 1. M. Buche came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over B. Náray but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. FC Creed bypassed the midfield with their counterattack, leading to a free kick goal by M. Langeneke for 1 - 1. 20 minutes into the game, M. Langeneke had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came H. Hiebner. T. Ohtonen's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when T. Zwerger was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 34 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! It wasn't a pretty goal, but the free kick by V. Zagoruyko after 35 minutes somehow found its way past the keeper. FC Creed takes the lead, 2 - 1! 2 - 1 was the halftime score. BOMBORA had most of the ball, with 71 percent of possession.

M. Buche's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert K. Manninger was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for BOMBORA. 2 - 2. The guests almost went up by a goal after 66 minutes when J. Miglino came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. É. Rigault had a good opportunity to give BOMBORA the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. 70 minutes into the game, J. Heward had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. 2 - 3 was the score with 85 minutes played, after F. Tavola cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for BOMBORA. Possession in this half belonged to BOMBORA, who controlled the ball 72 percent of the time.

The most dominating FC Creed player was without a doubt A. Toften. B. Náray turned in a dismal performance, however. D. Yasam performed admirably for BOMBORA. S. Mebus was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
