The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Alma Negra from Futebol a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 30 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! S. Ovesen was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Marselva's J. Goethals had to come off the bench. Marselva had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. 39 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. In a rapid move 80 minutes into the match, C. Handgraaf of Futebol lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked M. Alma Negra who easily hit it home to make it 1 - 1. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! Marselva had most of the ball, with 78 percent of possession.

With the scores being level after 90 minutes, the match went into extra time. After a fine move down the middle M. Engell nearly gave the home side a goal after 93 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. C. Handgraaf showed why he is feared on the counterattack, breaking through in the middle and scoring for Futebol after 94 minutes to make the score 1 - 2. With that Futebol had won the game in extra time. The most dominating Marselva player was without a doubt A. Sanz López. J. Goethals on the other hand, had a terrible day. Futebol's best player was G. Zdrzeniecki. On the other hand, S. Castelijns's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 2.
