Peacock limped off the field and was replaced by J. Arroyal. M. Bulović became the new Hetaroi captain. PoToSpElAoS took the lead after 32 minutes making the score 0 - 1. E. Stampoulis placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. After 34 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave C. Guerrero a chance to increase the lead for PoToSpElAoS, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. Hetaroi players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. After 36 minutes, A. van Pruissen had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for Hetaroi with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, B. Nieto would have put PoToSpElAoS up another goal 37 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The referee showed Hetaroi's G. Lecciolino the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The rain made it hard for players like J. Arroyal to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. PoToSpElAoS's counterattacks created a good chance for T. Romanato on the right after 41 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Moreira Pinheiro, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for Hetaroi. PoToSpElAoS caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 73 minutes into the match. C. Guerrero was able to finish off the move - 0 - 3. Hetaroi's G. Lecciolino got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 1 - 3. PoToSpElAoS's S. Almeyda refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 76 minutes. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit C. Guerrero just fine. Hetaroi refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, E. Ammosov managed to slip the ball home for 2 - 3. E. Pedersen slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Hetaroi, with 66 percent of the ball.
